Bebes

My sweet little girl has good manners.
Now and then she needs reminded of "Please" and "Thank You".
But, she has always been spot on with "Excuse me".
Until recently when she has replaced that with "ribbit".
Yep.
Ribbit.
She burps.
Ribbit.
When I look at her and ask her "what do you say?"...
she says...
"Ribbit".
Sigh.

I took Aid to the eye doctor this week.
He was a little nervous with all the shiny mechanics everywhere.
He could not sit still.
At one point, his leather chair made a squeaky noise that could have been mistaken for something else.
He quickly blurted out "That was my chair!"
The Dr. and I both laughed.

He isn't doing anything super funny quite yet, but look at those eyelashes.
Love.

Ribbit! Mind if I borrow that? I think it could replace not only "Excuse me" but a host of other expressions. Also, guaranteed to stop a fight in its tracks.

"Ribbit!"

Your kids are so sweet and adorable!
