Abby and I started a new tradition yesterday.
The birthday mani and pedi date.
It was sweet.
So sweet.
She had so much fun.
She said the pedicure tickled her toesies.
She picked purple for her them.
Lisa added flowers.
She picked neon orange for her nails.
Even though I tried to talk her out of it.
Lisa added purple polka dots.

She giggled and talked the whole time.
She used her manners.
She asked questions about everything.
She helped with whatever she could.
(She also peed on the floor, but we won't talk about that.)
She showed off her new color to her brothers.
She checked them out this morning to make sure they were still pretty.

I can't wait until next year.
And the year after that.
And the year after that.
